Me and my friend write the description as english task. i want to share it with a lot of people. I hope whwn you visiting Indonesia you will taste it.
CIMPLUNG
Cimplung is the one of famous traditional food of Banyumas, Central Java. There are kinds of cimplung. There are young coconut cimplung, cassava cimpung, banana cimplung and caro cimplung. But generally cimplung is made from cassava.
Cimplung is very delicious, whit mixture of nira water that makes its sweet and interest. It is made from cassava together which is made in palm sugar process. While palm sugar that made from flower coconut water or called nira. Cimplung mostly has brown colour. It shape looks like cassava that cutting be a several parts of cassava. You can also make new shapes as you like. It will be nice, if you eat it during warmly and with warm coffee.
You can find cimplung cassava in traditional food market in many village of Banyumas. If you want you can come to village of Banyumas. With cheap price you can buy many cimplung as you like.
EMPEK – EMPEK
Empek – empek is one of traditional food from South Sumatra made of sago flavor which boiled and then fried. But there are also grilled empek – empek. Empek – empek is made of sago flavor which mixed with flesh fish like tengiri fish, teri fish, etc. it taste delicious.
The fried empek – empek has two kind, there are kapal selam empek – empek and lenjer empek – empek. The different of kapal selam empek – empek and lenjer empek – empek there are, if kapal selam empek – empek is kapal selam like and it contains egg or abon, etc. and if lenjer empek – empek is oval and no content. We can find empek – empek in South Sumatra.
Empek – empek is very delicious if serve with vinegar sauce which seasoning with onions, chili and palm sugar and add chop cucumber.
KRIPIK TEMPE
Kripik tempe is one of traditional food from Banyumas, Central Java. It is made from thin soybean cake and rice flavor. Kripik has square form and white colour. It is also very cheap.
Kripik gives many benefits for us. Kripik is made from soybean that has many nutriens for our health. For example, protein that very usefull for our grow and nutriens for skin. Not only from soybean, kripik is also made from flavor that has karbohidrat that gives us energy to do our activity in daily life.
Kripik can be eaten whenever and wherever. When you watch television with tour family, you can eat kripik to complete the situation. When you eat soto or mi ayam or meat ball, don’t forget to add kripik to make more delicious. Not only to eat but also kripik suit to be gift to other people when you visit Banyumas. I believe whoever that receive if will be happy.
Kripik must save in dry place it can survive for some month because it made without chemical medicine.
Kripik can find in Banyumas regency. Traditional market in Banyumas sell kripik with cheap price. One place in Banyumas that popular as producer of kripik is Sanggreman in Rawalo. Kripik from Sanggreman has unique and delicious teste.
GADO – GADO
Gado – gado is one of traditional food of Indonesia, especially from Jakarta. Gado – gado is delicious food and many people like this.
Gado – gado is made from some vegetables slice such as cucumber, cabbage, long beans, beans sprouts, water spinach, and pieces of rice cake is also an egg. Then served with peanut sauce and on top sprinkled with crackers and fried onions.
Gado – gado are found in Jakarta, especially in suburbs of the road but many are also found in cafés and restaurants in Jakarta.
Gado – gado can served with ice tea or orange juice. Because it tastes delicious many people very like it.
ONDOL – ONDOL
Ondol – ondol is one of traditional food from Banyumas (Indonesia) made of cassava and palm sugar. This food has the shape of clothesbrush with palm sugar in the middle of it and has sweet taste and tander. Pocess of production of ondol – ondol with greter’s cassava that in the middle ondol – ondol gives many palm sugar to match appetite. After that process then ondol – ondol is ready to be fried. This food is delicious served in warmly with coffee in the afternoon.
SOTO KUDUS
Soto is one of traditional food from Indonesia. Many kinds of soto in Indonesia, one of them is soto kudus. Soto Kudus is famous with lemon aroma. It makes soto Kudus always delicious.
Soto Kudus is made from chicken meat, tauge, celery, and other. In soto Kudus, chicken meat must be boiled and then fried. And after fried, chicken meat is boiled again with galangale and salam’s leaf.
Soto Kudus is usually found in general place such as restaurant, market and other place.
Soto Kudus will look delicious if served with soy sauce. And it can be eaten with prekedel, potato and some eggs.
Soto Kudus is most attractive if served with fried onion on it.
TAHU (TOFU)
Tahu is one of traditional foods from Indonesia made of soybean and other ingredient. There are many kind of soybean that are black soybean,white soybean, and yellow soybean. All kind of soybean can make tahu,but many seller use white soybean to make tahu (tofu). Because white tofu will produce tahu putih (white tofu). Many people love white tofu because have interesting appearance that is white clean. So that give impression tahu (tofu) makes hygienic. Tofu also make of substance clotting. There are three kind of tofu substance clotting, That are Asetat sour,manyon and tofu stone. Seller usually uses Asetat sour(cuka) and mayon to make tahu.
Process production of tofu containing protein in soybean top process with substance clotting. So that obtain white clump called tofu. Substance clotting used for coagulate protein from soybean. Tofu has square shape.
Tofu is delicious and healthy food. Because contasin high nutrient value. So that tofu very usefull to our body. So, natural if many people love tofu.
TUMPENG
Tumpeng is traditional cone food made from rice. It is also a traditional from Java island. I is made by steam method.
Tumpeng is divided to two kind. There are white rice tumpeng and yellow rice tumpeng. White rice tumpeng is made from white rice and served with scraped coconut and small shrimp or tiny seafish. It is delicious when we eat it with other food like vegetable salad.
The second kind is yellow rice tumpeng it is made from white rice but it is seasoned with turmeric to make it become yellow. It can be served with fried nut,fried noodle,omellete and it is delicious.
Tumpeng is often used in events like traditional ceremonies and birthday party. So, you can eat tumpeng in earth alm ceremony in Sura month.
